This is my fourth electric helicopter, the cheapest and yet, by far the best! I only do reviews when items are really good or really bad and this definitely is the former. The best points are it's flight stability and robustness. It only has three channels - I have had six channel models but you can still do all the basic manoeuvres - up and down, rotate right or left (very precise - a joy to see) and move forward or back - these last movements are made using a horizontal tail rotor which tips the nose of the heli up or down as appropriate - an unusual method but it works really well. As is inevitable, I collided with walls, ceilings and other objects in my first flights but the heli was unscathed - on other models I would have had to replace rotor blades several times. The rotor blades on this heli are flexible, hinged and reinforced on the leading edge - so well designed. The model is built with many metal parts and is quite large and heavy but it looks great and flies for as long as any of the other much lighter models that I have owned. (About 10 minutes.) The only minor negatives are: the radio control is not particularly sophisticated but who cares when it just works! The LCD display on the controller is a superfluous really as you are unlikely to take your eyes of the heli when you are flying it and there are some mock trim sliders on the controller (why?). The only working trimmer is the rotary control which trims any tendency to rotate one way or the other. You can also adjust the sensitivity of the joysticks although they are fine as they are so I don't really see why you would want to do that. The instructions are a bit difficult to follow and not written in very good English but most of the operation is self-explanatory. If you are thinking about an electric heli you wont go wrong with this one!
