Can highly recommend this book for any students doing Foundation degrees in computing science or related business studies. Found it to be really useful doing major project at end of moduels.

Brilliant book covers every aspect of analysis and design,including case studies. Ideal for anyone studying a degree in computers, from foundation year to year 3.

Out of curiosity, I read the first edition of SYSTEMS ANALYSIS AND DESIGN from 1988. It's a wonderful book, and I only wish that I had read it in 1991-95 when I was involved in a large database system developement project. The presentation is logical and easy to get. Lots of case studies provide humorous comments that bring life to the process.
