5.0 out of 5 stars Another Great SFL resource 8 July 2013
By Justin R. Woods - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
The application of SFL to the different topics and discourse this book does is invaluable. They admit that the material needs more development and that their works in this volume are heuristic in many ways, but I was astounded at the insightful nature that SFL has toward CDA. I will be seeking some deeper SFL resources in the future. As far as linguistics and sociolinguistics goes, I am excited to see what the future has in store the more we keep to Halliday's notion of "keeping man at the center of the linguistic scene."
