I bought this game after reading about it in a review. The review only gave it 6/10, but the description intrigued me, so I thought it'd be worth the tenner. I wasn't wrong.
Alright, so the graphics look like they'd be more at home on the PS1, and the sound effects can get a little irritating, but the gameplay is golden. The basic aim of the game is to soup up your car enough to reach, race, and defeat the President, but like most RPGs there are dozens of sidequests to keep you entertained - some involve collecting items, some involve racing other cars, one even involves playing football.
The other aspect of the game is racing. Racing takes place in different locations at different levels of difficulty, and while it might not quite be Burnout or GT4 it's still fun. Winning races gets you cash, which you can use to upgrade your car in various ways; from better steering and tyres to a rocket booster and wings. You'll eventually build up a team as well, helping you bring in even more money.
So, if you're looking for a game but you don't want to shell out £30, I'd definitely recommend it.
