Syphon Filter 2 introduces a new set of objectives requiring smarts, stealth and a steady aim while running (and kneeling, crouching, walking, rolling, climbing, jumping) through multiple levels.
In the game, players assume the roles of secret agents Gabriel Logan and Lian Xing. Framed for a crime they did not commit, the two must race against the clock in order to prevent the sale of the Syphon Filter virus to a terrorist nation. Played from a third-person point of view, the story takes gamers from the streets of Moscow to the Agency's secret Syphon Filter lab. Format:Video Game
For those of you who have played 'Metal Gear Solid', you are undoubtedly well aware that this is one of THE best games that gaming has EVER seen. when word spread that a rival game was due for release, I laughed until it hurt that someone thought they could beat this! Well... they have. All of the action is blasted straight at the gamer right from the start. This game requires stealth, cunning and plenty of fire power. The ease that many gamers felt was involved in MGS is non-existant in this, proving to be a challenge right to the end. Though the storyline isn't as powerful as MGS, the game play makes up for this. Imagine your stuck in an enemy compound, armed with nothing put a single blade. Guards lurk round every corner, and you have a whole world to save. You need your wits, you need stealth and cunning. Form a mental plan, and using nothing but the dark shadows and the cold steel in your hand, take out the guards. The further you go, the more fire power you will aquire. But just as equally, the more challenge you will encounter. This is more than a game, this is a tense experience. Perhaps cliched in places, but this only works to enlighten the story and the action you will create. Every expected phrase or death will either make you cringe or more likely wait with baited breath for the next scene to occur. So take my advice. Stay to the shadows. Keep your steps light. Look only at your target... and get to the nearest computer now and order this game!!

This game is excellent. I like the one player mode because once you have completed it you can do more because there are lots of hidden extras. The two player game is equally as good. Syphon filter 2 is a game that suits for everyones needs, stealth, guns blazing and snipering. In conclusion this is the best game of its type.

Syphon filter 2 is the best game ever. When the first Sypon filter came out i thought it was good but this is even better. If you were a fan of the other syphon filter game you will be sure to like this one! The two player mode is brilliant, and the game play is excellent. It won't be beaten, it is simply the best.
