I have no idea, but it is cheaper to get the enclosure and discs separately, and takes seconds to install them (no harder than changing a fuse in a plug). So, if you get them separately, you know you're getting the full guarantee, and saving money!

Basically, a newer, faster CPU that allows it to do more concurrently? Unless you need to run twice as many file transfers, or twice as many surveillance cameras, then save the pennys. See for specific differences, but most you wont notice. I'd recommend shopping around for separate NAS and discs, you might get the components cheaper than the combintion, and fitting is TRIVIALLY easy.
