as most of the literature it puts a focus on the supplements which does make sense since we all prefer to have a few pills sort our health out, than getting busy with running (cardio) and watching out for the food traps. IR is a relatively unknown territory for medics and it seems that people don`t really understand that it is all about food and nutrition habits! So I`d like to read a book that will be focused on food, and get the right motivation for me to exercise inspite of all these energy drops.

I was disappointed in this book. It tells you more about diabetes, and hypertension than Syndrome X, and very little on how to manage it. Any thing in here you can find out on WEBMD.COM, so save your money!

This book is great for women with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. It is a great tool to help prevent us from becoming diabetic.
