I'm surprised no-one has reviewed this album, but that may be just because very few people have ever heard of it. In fact, if it wasn't for the promotional material inside another Sunbeam CD I'd bought, I'd never have heard of these guys, never having ever seen their name before anywhere. But what is amazing is that this is truly fantastic music, hard to describe but definitely more on the folky side, early progressive folk if you wish. I wouldn't describe it as psychedelic - parts of the songs remind me instrumentally of very early Jethro Tull, but with far more melodic vocals, and with many songs on themes of Greek mythology. I'm surprised these guys did little else, as this album stands out in my collection of many hundreds of albums from this time period of '67-'69 as one of the better albums of the era, and far more likeable than albums by many of the stars of that era. I find myself listening to this over and over, and am pleased to have stumbled across this true lost classic. I'd strongly recommend this to anyone who likes quality music from that era, and as you may know Sunbeam produce their CDs with a high standard of quality - mini-gatefold albums, covers made of quality material, well-designed booklets, and only 1000 of them, all numbered. I'm sure these will be very collectible in the future.
