By comparison, that is, with his two masterworks World Gone Strange and The Last Dance of Mr X (reviewed elsewhere). It may just be a matter of personal taste, but I simply couldn't find a shred of musical enjoyment in Synasthaesia. Whatever you do, don't buy this without hearing it first.
