There's something magical about four hands played by twins. The other obvious example is the Labecques, who are sometimes a bit too virtuoso for the good of the music, but the Pekinels are brilliant. The only reason for not giving this five stars is that the Gershwin preludes, done as well as I've heard, don't quite have the bluesy quality I might have hoped for, the hot summer nights in the Depression that maybe you have to be an American, a very particular kind of American, to really bring off. It's still the best I've heard, and the Bernstein and Bartok are excellent. I'd go a long way to hear these two play anything.
