I loved the original Symingtons Instant Dandelion Coffee, containing lactose, and therefore bought another tin, not realizing its format had changed several years ago. What I tasted was something undrinkable. Why on earth do they need any kind of sweetener? After all, you don't buy sweetened tea leaves, do you? I wrote to Symingtons complaining about the change, and they merely said that lactose is now too expensive to use. I'm waiting for them to finally decide to delete all types of sweeteners and, for goodness sake, giving the consumer the opportunity to add if desired.
