My experiance was this was surprisingly dramatic. I normally only catch maybe one or two colds a year, and they are very mild. But due to some terrible stress I'm having right now, I've been catching one cold after another for over a month, along with food posioning. One cold I had lasted 13 days! After four colds consecutively and a bout of food poisoning that lasted over a week, I was exhausted and desperate. My immune system was so worn down, I knew it wasn't getting any chance to recover, and I couldn't keep missing work. In desperation, I went down to my local health food store to see what they had in the way of immune boosters and give my poor body a break.

The lady behind the counter took this down off the shelf behind her and handed it to me, and told me a lot of people got good results from this. The bottle says 2 capsules in the morning and two in the evening for regular maitenance, but in times of enviromental or physical stress to TRIPLE the dose. I was like "12 caps a day? Ugh! Too much!" So I pared it down to 4 in the morning and 4 in the evening.

I got it on a Friday and ended up spending most of the weekend in bed feeling somewhat flu-ish, but not quite. I was having bad diarrhea, ached all over, was exhausted, and I smelled funny. All I wanted to do was sleep, so that's what I did over Saturday and Sunday. My current cold had been the mildest of the ones I had previously, so I knew it wasn't bad enough to be making me feel that rotten. I wondered what the hell was wrong with me, and wondering if I did something wrong taking 8 caps a day and I was having a reaction. I went online again, and while most places said you don't get adverse reactions from taking colostrum, a few did mention some people can get sick with flu-like symptoms and diarrhea from detoxing. I think now that's what was happening to me, and my body was just dumping all the bad stuff out of my system that I'd been accumulating for a month or more.

By Monday I felt 110% better! The cold was gone, my digestion returned to normal, and I actually have more energy than I've felt in YEARS. I'm more alert, calmer, happier, and feel wonderful. I am using this product for the growth factors it encourages one's body to generate during fat loss... I am trying to tip the scales in the delicate balance between muscle/fat catabolism using this product. Here is how I take it... since the enzymes in saliva activate some of the substances in mammalian colostrum you should take a half teaspoon twice a day (morning and night) and drop it in your mouth from a measuring spoon and press it into a pad again the roof of your mouth with your tougue. It will stick there... just leave it there for abut 20 minutes slowly being broken down in your mouth and carried into your empty stomach with your saliva. I think best on empty stomach. Read up on the benefits of this substance on the net from reputable sites... medial sites, etc... don't believe the hype you might hear and testimonials from sites that sell "remedies for all that ails you". Losts of snake oil salemen out there but this has some proven science behind it and I think well worth the money for my purposes anyway.
