Norton CleanSweep
Only one star rating as this program offers little that is not alreay easily available in Windows.
Fast & safe cleanup emptys the recyle bin, cleans out the temporary directory and Internet browser cache files. All of these can be easily done from within Windows Disk Cleanup.
Norton CleanSweep also lets you remove unwanted programs to free disk space again availbale under Windows Disk Cleanup.
Norton CleanSweep does offer the optional protection of safety sweep which gives a green, yellow, red indicator of how safe it is to remove a file.
If Norton CleanSweep offered more than is available for free via Windows such as the option to remove shortcuts to recently used files and to remove .log files etc when it would be worth the investment.

Norton Cleansweep is the first software I have purchased for my IBm computer . I hoped this software would help clear possible excess cookies from my system and any useless browser files etc. It did !!! and am I happy. I also found it easy as pie to install. I have also purchased the Norton Antivirus 2002 software and feel confident that I can surf the net safely and can cure any cookie problems. An excellent product. Even a beginner will be able to use this software. It also comes with a booklet which is great.
