Lots of fun - this is really different from the standard doll's house option. The boat has many realistic clever details like a toilet and shower room with fold-away doors, and the top of the boat comes off so that my daughter(age 5) can play with her Sylvanians inside the boat. However, there is a fair bit of fiddly assembly of Sylvanian-size components required - although some people may enjoy doing this - and the decorative details need to be stuck on if you want the boat to look like the one in the picture. And in common with many other Sylvanian products, you get just the boat; the package does not include any of the characters.
But overall - an excellent buy if your child likes Sylvanians.

I'm a sylvanian collecter and have many sets, so i know loads about them. The boat does'nt take up much space and has very vivid bright colours. The only downside is space, you can only fit in a small family and furniture. But it does come with clever ideas as the shower and toilet fold away.

Overall it is a great starting home for children and is a good design
