Sylvanian Families is a unique and adorable range of distinctive anymal characters with charmies and beautifully detailed homes, furniture and accessories. They live, work and play in the idyllic and wonderful land of Sylvania. What a wonderful school Berry Grove is. It has two levels and a stair case a very well equipped paint area with colouring books and paint pots and a small library, whilst downstairs there’s a busy mathematics class being prepared. There is also a working clock in the clock tower and lots more school accessories.

This attractive school is part of the spring 2011 range, and has everything you need to start lessons straight away. The large downstairs classroom has six desks, workbooks and a blackboard . Climb upstairs to the library and you'll find a table, bookshelf, six stools and lots of posters. The school even comes with a working clock and a school bell! Berry Grove School doesn't come with any figures but is a great addition to your Sylvanian Families collection. A fantastic toy. RRP is a little much for what it is, though I see Amazon frequently have some great deals on this item. It's certainly worth paying for. The detail is minute and charming. There are so many accessories to complete the piece, and you can even balance the set squares on the blackboard shelf without them falling over, with some practice! Minimal assembly is required, and where things do slot together it's quite simple. The working clock is a lovely feature. You can also slot books into the children's and teacher's desks, and the design of the chairs makes it easy to seat (and wedge) long-tailed figures, especially squirrels!

I bought this for my daughter's 4th birthday along with 2 sylvanian families.It comes with a working clock and some little books which you have to assemble yourself which is a bit tricky but I eventually managed.
My daughter loves playing with it and it helps immensely with creative play. Even her 7 year old brother plays with it with her.
The only drawback is it has some tiny pieces with it for example the paintbrushes which are very easy to lose.
