I don't normally write on things like this, because it takes too damn long, but this guide was brilliant. Never heard of these guyd before and it was better than anything else I've seen since moving to Sydney. It has made my life here much, much easier.

I came across the Explorer series and the 'Sydney' guide in particular whilst browsing for books concerning Australia. Most of the quality colour guides were priced around GBP17.00 mark, and above. The Sydney Explorer undercuts these colour guides by around 25 percent without sacrificing quality. Furthermore, much of the Sydney Explorer appears to have been written by, or with reference to, residents of Sydney who share with the reader their knowledge and experiences of their fair city. There is an introductory section that provides useful information for people considering emigrating to Australia and, surprisingly, a section concerning leaving Australia. The Sydney Explorer, as well as the other guides in the series, represent excellent value for money.
