This is a great little laminator, which so far has given perfect results every time. It has only two switches (on/off and Hot/Cold) and a paper Jam release lever so is very easy to use. I have used it with 220gsm card and 150micron pouches without any problems. The 4 rollers ensure a nice smooth finish, and the casing doesn't get too hot to handle. The unit itself is very flat and doesn't look ugly in the home, and warms up in just a couple of minutes. It then only takes a minute to laminate an A4 sheet and the finished item cools down very quickly. You get 5 free pouches in the box with it.
It also come's in
Swordfish A4 SuperSlim Laminator 4 Rollers Model 40186 - Red or
Swordfish A4 SuperSlim Laminator 4 Rollers Model 40185 - White.
I would recommend this laminator to anyone for home, office or school use.
Tips
====
> Always put the pouches in joined edge first, if you put them in open end first they will jam.
> Don't put multiple pieces in a pouche as again it will jam.
> Don't use a 'carrier' with this laminator because... you guessed it... it will jam.
> Always make sure that there is at least a 3mm gap around the paper you laminate so that the edges stick well.
> If you plan to cut out whatever you laminated then put it through 2 or 3 times first to ensure it is well stuck down, and then leave it to cool thoroughly.
