They say that the maker of the famous Swiss Army Knife has made this backpack, so it sounds good. My first impression was that it's much bigger than usual laptop backpacks and has many pockets both inside and outside. A mobile phone pocket, an iPod pocket etc etc - very functional, I think. The quality of the material is good, strong and stylish too. It becomes very 'fat' too, so apart from the laptop compartment, there is another large space for paper documents, books, cables etc, so it will be able to carry a lot of contents. I would probably use it when I go on a short trip to Europe at the weekend when you're allowed to carry only one hand luggage, because it's easy to carry and can easily carry most things that you'd need for a couple of days' break.
One very minor concern is that the bottom of this backpack is surprisingly thin with hardly any padded material, and there is no 'feet' at the bottom as my older laptop backpack has four small rubber 'feet' that would protect the laptop from a shock. So if you're not careful when you put it on the floor, you might damage the laptop. It's well padded around, but I wonder why they didn't do the same at the bottom part. For this small reason I give four stars for this product, otherwise it'd definitely deserve five stars as it's a very good backpack and I already like it very much! I'll definitely use it for a long time!
Another thing I have already mentioned that there are many useful pockets in this backpack, but a minor 'side effect' for me is that I often lose small things inside it, such as an iPod or a car key. I know it's definitely in the bag, but I have to look for it in every single pocket!! I think I need to be a little more vigilant when I put things in it, but obviously this is not a very serious problem.
Oh one more thing I like about this backpack: I also like the Swiss flag that is used as part of the brand name to show this is a Swiss product!)
