Whether all the facts in this book are entirely true, well, that remains to be seen.

Aside from that, this book contains a plethora of information about Swiss involvement in Germany's gold affairs. Not nearly as vague as the other books I've read which discuss the topic from the author's subjective point of view (to make up for lack of information). Furthermore, the author touches on the topics we want to read about. . . the kind of information that would be embarassing to many "official departments," and not subjects one can normally pull up on the internet. Believe me, this author has done her homework. And, it's interesting reading, too. It discusses a lot of topics while at the same time-keeping the reader awake.

A fascinating book I couldn't put down. If you want to understand world hunger and the multinationals' power games, this is a great place to start. It gives a clear explanation of why the world works the way it does and why millions die of hunger and hunger related disease every year despite the quantities of food we waste. Millions die for the multinationals (from the pharmaceutical industry to 'good old' Nestlé) to make their huge profits. It gives an insight into the mindset of those who rule the world. There seems to be no English translation which is a shame. There is also a French translation of a version he uses to explain it to the kids which I am going to read before potentially giving it to my son.

A fascinating book I couldn't put down and finally somebody that has done his homework and provides the fullest picture to date of swiss complicity in Nazi German war crimes of WWII. It is an emotional and controversial subject but the truth always hurts and I fully agree with Ziegler that without Swiss complicity the war in Europe would have ended earlier sparing countless lives. I am thankful that somebody finally examined the shady relationship between Swiss bankers and Nazi Germany in addition to what we read today in the headlines about tax fraud & evasion with the help of Swiss bankers.
