Swingball is a great way to develop hand-eye co-ordination in younger players and is also ideal to play as a family. Pro Swingball is perfect for older children and adults who’ll enjoy hitting a real tennis ball at full whack in truly competitive matches.
Swingball can be played just about anywhere on any surface such as grass, decking, concrete - even sand. Simply fill the base with water or sand for stability and you're ready to play.
A game starts with the tether in the middle of the Swingball spiral. With two players each player takes turns to hit the ball, one player hitting the ball clockwise, and the other anticlockwise. The ball flies around the pole and the tether moves up and down the spiral. The winner is the player to reach the top, or the bottom, of the spiral first. Mark your score dependant on who wins the game. Games can be played with one or two players. In practice mode, individuals can perfect their forehand and back hand shots.
All the components pack away into the base, ideal for storage and transportation, you really can take and use this Swingball set anywhere.

The poles are wider (now 30mm instead of 25mm) for solidity and with an added bottom pole fixing ‘R-Clip’ they will be able to resist the demands of even the most enthusiastic players. Steel tube construction for durability complete with a convenient bat holder to hold your bats once gamplay has finished. Height adjustable up to 1.7 metres (5’ 5”) for older players with unique (300g approx) Checkerbats you’ll be able to power your way to the end.

This is the third swingball we have owned in ten years. It was easy to assemble with clear instructions. The pro ball is a real improvement on previous versions of the game. The point scorer is also quite a neat idea. The (optional) bat hook is a good idea but the cord sometimes gets caught in it. Overall, the family is really enjoying it and I would recommend.

After I had read the reviews of several swingball toys I plumped for this one as it had more five star ratings than the others; and I wasn't disapointed. Strong, durable and even adults playing it's strong enough. Best thing about it, it all packs away in the base for easy transport. Highly recommended. If you want a long lasting and quality swingball then I strongly recommend you buy this one. Quality product.

I bought this product under the pretence that it was for my son but as he is only 5 months old this was fooling nobody!
My one worry when buying this product was due to the fact it was a moveable unit, whether it would stand up to 30+ males thrashing the ball around without collapsing or breaking.
I'm please to say that once we filled the base with a couple of bricks and a bag of sand, then watered the sand, it was very stable. I would only recommend using water if this is purely for children.
It was easy to assemble and is still going strong even after a house party at the weekend where it was in constant use. Due to the heavy nature of the bats it's also a surprisingly good and fun workout.

The Swingball Pro does exactly what it says on the box. The Pro version with its larger base is much more stable for those hard hitters out there. Great game.

Disappointed
This item is very much as the old item, only ten pounds more expensive. It is also a different colour, but thats all. I was very disappointed with it.
