5.0 out of 5 stars Great book, 26 Dec 2006
I started tolearn to swim 3 months ago, and Ok I've had lessons with a teacher as well, but this book has given me the information that I needed to know on how to do each part of the stroke.

You can teach yourself with this book, if you have a friend who could watch at times.

I can now swim 25m lengths of the pool in freestyle, and backcrawl, using mostly the drills and technequies in this book.

I can't recommend this book enough for the novice, and even those who want to improve there swimming.
