This is a must have pan for jam making. It's well made,easy to handle, and should last for many years if not a lifetime.

I am new to jam making and burnt the base of the first two (cheaper) preserving pans I got beyond use so gave this one a try. It has been great and hasn't burnt at all. I'm sure this is partly due to me getting better at what I'm trying to do but I think it's also because this pan has a thicker base and distributes the heat more effectively. I'm hopeful that with the combination of a sturdy pan and better technique this pan will last for many years.

Beautiful shiny and smart new pan...purchased after the installation of my new induction hob. This meant my old(VERY old} pan could not be used. I do a lot of jam, chutney fudge cooking...all of which have caused no problem, not burned or caught anywhere. I like the way the handle can be support away from the pan when in use...its an excellent pan, bought at a good price...I know Granny would not be pleased but it is much nicer to use than the old family one!!Swift Supreme Jam/Preserving Pan with Bucket Handle, 30cm, 9.0Ltr

This is a great product. Not too heavy and therefore easy to lift, but with a sufficiently heavy base to do the job of preserving. Good quality stainless. Read more
