Looks great,doesn't slip about my glass desk top,reasonably comfy & optical mouse works great on it.
The extra power use is minimal to nothing.
BTW!...when installed you'll get the "found new hardware" message.
However,this doesn't mean the USB ports are functioning.
Make sure to run "device manager",this'll make sure the ports work.
So if your after a mouse mat that looks quite cool with added functionality,this is the one.

This is a good mouse mat, i was worried it might be a little tacky with the light, but it is quite subtle and has a great surface for optical mouse. The usb ports are very handy and work perfectly. However, whilst i am very pleased with the mat, i am more pleased with the instructions that came with it! The 5th main characteristic of the product according to these instructions is "Take precautions against earthquakes and steep the cotton in high strength" - all good advice... as for the operating advice, well apparently the user is meant to "open the top cover, remove sponge hands and hold the organism both sides, there should be no damaging, scratch to check the evil spirit cushion" - AMAZING!
bought this to use with my acer laptop.as soon as i connected the pad i lost the use of all my usb ports. avoid!

Nice mouse mat
Very nice mousemat and fast delivery and glows nicely in the dark just what I wanted. The extra usb slots are also helpful. :)
