Beats any non-stick pan,

I got exactly what I wanted: a basic stainless steel roaster and it sure beats any non-stick alternative as long as you bear in mind that it needs greasing! A stainless steel roaster isn't meant to be non-stick and must be used accordingly, just as you wouldn't cook anything in a stainless steel saucepan on the hob without adding some oil or butter.
If you're fed up with non-stick pans with surfaces that peel off and a relatively short life-span this is what you should get! I have over time replaced all non-stick products in my kitchen with either cast iron or stainless steel, and my pans will definitely outlive me.
