There is nothing wrong with the product except that it was grossly overpriced. In the picture there is a cardboard box with a packet of swifter wet refills on the top. It was priced at £29. Seeing the box I thought there must be a box of six or twelve refills. I'd also seen the small box on the top selling for around £6 on amazon. So I thought it might be cheaper buying in bulk. I waited around three weeks for the product to arrive and was shocked to find I'd paid £29 for one little plastic container of 12 refills. I contacted Happy Sales U.K. And they said how high quality their product was compared to the one on sale at £6. Correct me if I'm wrong but swiffer refills are swiffer refills no matter where you buy them. Then when I told them this they said that it cost them to bring the product from America. Looks like I'm paying for their whole shipment! No wonder they call themselves Happy Sales. They must be very happy with all the money they have going into their pockets! I'd advise Proctor and Gamble not to deal with these people as they'll spoil their reputation. I usd the swifter mop while I was over in America and loved it so much I wanted one for here. But I'd hate to think how much it would cost me for a months supply at these very unreasonable prices! Or how much for a year?

Well nothing wrong with the wet wipes itself however to put a small box with a large carton box is misleading you think you are going to buy the lot with the card board and you are not. for atotal price of £18.00 each wipe cost you a fortune. the photo is misleading and should be change, false marketing.

What I have done is I bought the swiffer mop from another company and I bouth the Dettol extra large floor wipes and use these on the swiffer much cheaper and the dettol wipes do not break, should you require more cleaning product, then buy dettol direct floor cleaner, you will save money on the wipes. you get 15 wipes for £3.00 thank you Dettol.

How is that possible, that on amazon.de - you can buy 6 packs each with 24 wet wipes for a total cost of EUR 28,74?
Sounds like a grand rip off!

These are really great cleaning products that I have used for years. In my experience, they are a staple of my cleaning regime which is why while I've been living outside the US as a consultant, I had to order these. I cannot find them anywhere in the stores. Although this item ultimately did not arrive, it seems the problem is with the inefficiency of post office in the city to where the item was shipped.

The shipper issued a full refund.

don't buy these; cheaper and better alternative 4 July 2009
By thia - Published on Amazon.com
I move to a 1000 sq ft apatment with almost all white tiles and it was so difficult to clean. I needed something and thought the Swiffer would help. Their wet pads just pushed dirt all over, left dirt lines and didn't even clean around the grout lines even though I went through the area first with the dry pads for dirt. I would go through ~10 wet pads to "clean" my floors plus I would then have to go over the entire floor with my mircofiber towels. That did the job so I thought if I can replace their pads with a microfiber pads, it might work so I went on Amazon and found a microfiber cleaning pad, Tersano cleaning cloths and they fit the Swiffer head snuggly, not the XL. It works!!! I don't have to continuously buy the chemical or dry pads to fill our landfills. The Tersano cloth pads are washable and because it thicker and absorbent, it cleans much better and doesn't deposit dirt in the floor grouts. The investment in the Tersano pads was ~$6.00 and the original Swiffer starter kit was ~$11; not bad considering a typical sponge mop is ~$18 and are horrible on tile. Buy the Swiffer but don't waste money or time with their wet or dry pads.

I love Swiffer Wet 13 Feb. 2006
By Amazon Customer - Published on Amazon.com
I live in upstate New York where it snows a little everyday and people come into my house with wet feet, leaving tacks in my kitchen. Keeping the floor clean is easy with this product. I love it. It is so easy just to slip a wet cloth on the mop, clean up the spots and then toss the paper cloth in the trash.

The pet controversy is silly. I have two cats and have been using this product 2 to 3 times a week or more for more than a year. My cats are fine.

Bad scent! 6 Feb. 2010
By Gardener - Published on Amazon.com
This product has a very strong scent that caused a horrible headache!!
I ignored it the first couple times, but it happened again & again.
I had to open all the windows (Winter time!) for 3 hours and the smell was still there, the last headache lasted 2 days!I even called the company, she was nice but said no one complained before and everybody love the scent. I recommend that maybe she should have an "Unscented" product, she said she will relay to the company.

I'm surprised by bad reviews.... 26 April 2010
By windypoo - Published on Amazon.com
I just stopped by Amazon to buy some MORE Swiffer Mop refills and, after seeing the many negative reviews, I felt obliged to give my take on them, The first refill pack I had lasted nearly a year and the last Swiffer refill I used was as moist as the first (no problem with drying out as some mentioned, and I did not store in a separate container). I find the fragrance refreshing and it goes away shortly after drying. It's true this mop isn't for heavy-duty scrubbing, but I spot-clean any stuck-on messes before Swiffing. As long as you sweep before mopping (yes, I use a Swiffer Sweeper for that!), there will be no loose articles to push around the floor with the Swiffer Mop. The convenience of not having to wring or squeeze (like old-school mops) is their best feature. A bonus use for me: I have vaulted ceilings and use the Swiffer mop as a wall cleaner for the places that are out of my reach. My daughter swears by them, too, for her home so I am puzzled by the many negative reviews. The only reason I'm gving them 4 stars rather than 5 is because they don't provide complete scrub-power and that's the only thing keeping them from being perfect.

Great for small areas 14 Mar. 2010
By G. Hampton Williams - Published on Amazon.com
I was looking for a replacement mop and refills, and a clerk at my local grocery store recommended the swiffer kit that was on sale. It came with two dry cloths and a box of 12 wet cloths. At first I thought this is going to be a waste of money, but I actually like it. I have a small eat-in kitchen and a small bathroom both with linoleum floors and I became so tired of buying replacement fillers for the standard sponge mops and getting a bucket of water each time I wanted to mop. This is a nice replacement. No more getting water to mop!!! The wet cloths dry quickly once it hits the floor, but it does the job and I love the smell. I definitely recommend sweeping, (using the dry cloths prior to the wet cloths). The wet cloths will not pick up the excessive dirt, so sweeping first is essential.

I have only had it for 2 days but so far I like it. The disposable dry/wet cloths are great! just sweep and mop and its over.

I probably would not have purchased this if I had a large kitchen or bathroom, not sure about that, but for anyone who has a small eat-in or not eat-in kitchen and small bathroom, this will work.

P.S. I forgot to mention, we do not have a lot of traffic in our house (its just the husband and me, no pets) so thats another plus to using this product. I mop both bathroom and kitchen about once a week. If you have constant traffic and/or pets and are mopping several times or more a week, buying this product could be costly.
