Can't knock it. I bought this to replace an old 4 port switch. Dropped right into place, 10 and 100Mbps.
I've got 4 extra ports to play with now. Cost me next to nothing. Tiny in size - about the same as an iphone but twice as thick. Comes with power supply and doesn't get hot. Works a charm.

I guess there's not a lot to a switch, from the user point of view.
Just plug it in and it works - which this one does.
It's small, neat, and runs cool. No problems with it so far.
And it's cheap.
What more could you want? (Apart from maybe a faster one, but 100Mbps is fine for me for now)

Like most people who would be looking to use this switch, I had run out of ports on my existing combined wireless router and switch.

In my opinion all a switch needs to do is sit quietly in a corner, sort packets and not crash. this is exactly what it does.

There are no parts to break down apart from the PSU failing, but these are usually reliable.

The unit is very cool, so to with the PSU.

All the link lights work correctly, and also the power light.

I have a Webserver, Fon access point, Router (working as an uplink), PC and a Remote harddisk running from it and I have not experienced any lag or failures.

So I would recommend it to anyone wishing to extend a small domestic network.
