The Sweex 2GB Clipz MP3 Player is a stylish compact MP3 player, perfect for the gym or people on the move. The 4 gB storage gives you plenty of space to store all of your favourite music. The simple controls make it effortless to flick through your tracks. It has a 10 step volume control accessed on the main control panel. The player charges during USB connection, no need for extra power supply's, just a small portable cable. It has a soft-off function, which allows the player to remember playback position. It will play back files in the order in which they are placed on the player. To add files simply connect it to your computer, your computer will recognize it as a storage device then drag and drop the files. when i ordered this player i was looking for something cheap to use in the gym as my main player is a bit too bulky, i was expecting something plastic and awful.
I find myself very pleasently suprised, the body of the player is all aluminium and it feels very sturdy indeed, the buttons have a good feel to them and seem quite solid, the clip itself is very strong and i can't see much chance of it falling off at any point. The sound quality is also suprising for the price, it's much better then i expecting it to be and the volume is very good, it's almost hard to believe that something that small could be that loud. thus far the battery life seems to be a good 4 hours or so too. One thing that doesn't seem to have been mentioned before that i found quite good is that there is an LED on the top that flashes to let you know when the player is playing or paused.
If you're looking for something to replace an Ipod shuffle then this probably isn't for you, the sound quality doesn't quite compare, but if you're looking for something you don't mind breaking at the gym, it's very good indeed and i would highly recommend

I bought this MP3 player mainly because I wanted something on the cheaper side for when I run.
From a running point of view this is perfect - the weight of the device is so low that I've never had an issue with it when running, very light indeed.
There's a spring-clip on the back so you can secure it to your clothes - doesn't seem VERY tight, but it's tight enough that I'm satisified my MP3 player is secure.
The standard headphones you receive with the device aren't fantastic, but I could say the same for most included headphones.
I'm more than happy with the Audio quality at this price and the battery life is very good also.
My only complaints are:
1) No Screen+no Random play - tracks will play in the order they were placed on the device, in the same order everytime. Not really an issue to me but others might not like this.
2) Because there is no screen you've no way of telling when the battery is about to die and it just dies suddenly. Although the fact there is no screen in the first place probably means the battery lasts alot longer anyway. And it charges from a mircro USB ( cable supplied ) so there really is no excuse not to have it charged.

lovely little gadget - like a bulldog clip - clip onto pocket or lapel. Very small and indiscreet. Easy to transfer music files from PC to MP3 player - no probs even for a silver surfer!!! Great when waiting around in hospital waiting rooms. Now I understand why the younger generations are so keen. Quality music anywhere and no weight at all. Wish I had one when a teenager!!!
