Sweet Tea is the second novel in the bestselling Tea Series. With over 250,000 copies sold, the series serves up fast, fun reads full of action, romance, and laughs. A fresh take on the serial novel, not every mystery is solved at the end of the day—or at the end of the book. Each installment keeps you coming back for more!

Cara O’Flynn’s luck is looking up—and heating up. Her career options range from housekeeping for dead people to life coaching online. Not to mention her hot new roomie A.J. But when she stumbles across the contents of a dead cop’s secret room, her prospects go from thrilling to threatening. Was someone murdered? Is Cara next on the killer’s list? Her only hope for making sense of the mess lies with an unstable cop, her nosey family, and a strong cup of tea. Full of intrigue, innuendo, and a hearty helping of hilarity, Sweet Tea will leave you dying to know what happens next!

More About the Author

Blessed to be born into a strong Irish American family, Sheila describes herself as 'one of ten', although a recount would be appropriate. The original family unit was once limited to Mom and Dad, and seven brothers and sisters. That unit has grown to include in-laws, nieces and nephews, grandkids and more. It is a family rich in tradition and it shaped every aspect of Sheila's life.

Sheila raised her son, as well as a plethora of other children she calls her own, and now enjoys the title of Grandma.

When asked about her writing, Sheila states, 'I devoted the first phase of my life to my parents and family, the second to my children, this last phase is for me. I love to write, share my somewhat skewed vision of the world, and with luck, make people laugh now and then.'

I couldn't put this series down, but you must read them in order. Once I'd read the first one, i bought the rest of the series and read them back to back. Excellent, funny, crazy!. I need more!

4.0 out of 5 stars Better than the first one 10 Dec. 2011
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Second book in the ''Tea series''. This book begins right where ''Hot tea'' left off. Suggest these books are read in order as could be a little confusing as the first one establish's the family and the relationships vital to enjoy further books in the series.
Centred around two sisters Cara and Teagan and their strong relationships with their Irish family. Both sisters seem to have found the man of their dreams but have to break the news to their very traditional Irish mother.
The two sisters find themselves drawn in to the middle of a serial murder investigation and worse still, Cara may have come to the attention of the murderer.
Enjoyed this one more than the first one (as now know the characters involved)and am looking forward to continue the story in the next one''Sweet tea'' already kindled in ready to read.

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing 12 April 2011
By FW - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Would have appreciated knowing that you have to buy ALL of the books in order to get the full story (I'm guessing it will eventually get to the conclusion, though the next book isn't out yet and who knows how many you'll have to buy in order to get to the end). I think it is a very sleazy tactic to require readers to buy more books just to see how the story ends. Should have been better edited, too. Too many typos and bad spelling. Characters ALMOST interesting, but fall way short and the plot is not at all convincing. It only cost $0.99 per book, but it isn't worth it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Another quick read, but still no closure. 12 Jun. 2011

Sweet Tea (The Tea Series) is the next chapter in Sheila Horgan's Tea series, directly following Hot Tea (The Tea Series). We continue to work through that ol' murder mystery, still not figuring out whodunnit, but we are graced with some more new characters who feel like old friends.
This is another quick read, but definitely not a standalone book; you really must read these books in order, to follow the character and plot development.
Oh, and have the next book ready to go when you finish this one.

3.0 out of 5 stars Frustrating 2 April 2014
By Mary Harrington Stahl - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I read the first book, then HAD to buy the second because there was no closure. Guess what?!? SAME THING with book 2, and yes, I did order book three. So, they are good enough to keep reading, but SOME AUTHORS really do give closure with a book in a series. And you want to keep reading, because they're that good...

Its hard for me to find a book I can read through to the end... I usually start and never finish... not with this series however! Finished the first in just a day and bought the other 3 that were available and after a week I was through them all! You did such a wonderful job with the story and characters and giving just enough info to keep me involved and wondering!! I am anxiously awaiting peppermint tea!! Dont keep us waiting too long please :) congratulations on such a wonderful series Sheila!

4.0 out of 5 stars Comical Sisters and their life situations 12 Feb. 2011
By T. Pezick - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Another good book in the series. Funny to read about a
Irish family and their traditions the sisters hold dear in
dealing with their life situations. Must continue to read series
to reach the conclusion of the funny matters that happen in
both Teagen and Cara's life.
A very enjoyable and light hearted and easy to read series.
