Product Description

In the bestselling tradition of Jeffrey Archer and Dick Francis comes a hot new commercial talent. A young scientist, Cameron, has an idea which could revolutionise medicine. She believes that, once published, her findings will change the world. A maverick financier, Bryn, sees the potential, but convinces her that truth alone is never what secures change: it's money, nous and competitive savvy. He persuades her to go into business with him. Their aim: to build a stockmarket company worth a hundred million pounds -- big enough to survive assault; strong enough to market Cameron's technology to the entire world. Corinth, a corporation worth a hundred billion dollars, sees Cameron's technology as a threat and aims to wipe out the fledgling enterprise. The story becomes a race to the stockmarket -- and a battle to survive. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

I spent the last few years reading every crime thriller available and was in urgent need of something different. I bought The Money Makers and was hooked from that day on - I couldn't wait for Harry's next book to be released. Sweet Talking Money followed and was an even better read - I became completely engrossed in the story which balanced suspense and humour throughout. You may be somewhat put off by the thought of reading a book written by a former banker on the subject of money - really dull? - No way this book holds your attention like no other I have read.

If you need something a little different from the crime thrillers this, along with its predecessor, is the book to go for. The only problem is that Harry doesn't write quickly enough and now I am forever typing his name into the book search at Amazon only to be greeted by these two classics.

Go on take a risk - Grisham can afford to lose out once in a while.

I hadn't seen Harry Bingham before. I risked it, bought it and loved it. A real page turner. A thriller from an ex-banker that keeps the plot at a level where a page from the ABC of banking is not required. Please keep writing Mr Bingham, but in the mean time I'll catch up with your "Money Makers". Sweet Talking Money is thoroughly recommended.

I had this book in my collection for weeks and always picked up another book and delayed reading Sweet Talking Money , Maybe it was because of the non-descript title , maybe because of the uninspiring author's name Harry Bingham , maybe because a book about genetic science seems like an unlikely story . However I finally got round to reading this book and what a wonderful surprise it was. I throughly enjoyed this intelligent , humourous and fast moving story and I will now be rushing to read another Harry Bingham book.

A gripping thriller mixed with romance
I loved this book. The premise is not quite as good as for his first book - the Money Makers - but it better on the romance front and characters. Read more

Clever, wickedly funny, and un-put-downable
Ideal reading for a trans-Atlantic flight -- you won't want to land until you've come to the end of it. Even better than The Money Makers!
