I wake up to Classic FM each day, and also listen to it whilst having a bath, and this is where I first heard a Track from this Album - it was the very first one: 'Chaconne In G Minor' and it was beautiful! As the previous Reviewer 'angel' has also said; it took me off to another wonderful place too! I couldn't help but feel that the rest of the album would be just as good - even before listening to the samples at Amazon - and I was right!

This is a great Album, but I should imagine you have to feel 'in the mood' for this type of music to fully enjoy and appreciate it.

Lovely stuff!

Bought this CD specifically for "Chaconne" by Vitali. Thought the interpretation by Sarah was very acceptable. Have the rest of the music in various forms but still found the whole experience most agreeable.
