2.0 out of 5 stars Grief, I hope it improves! 11 May 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Admittedly I am only half way through but boy I am struggling with this one! I hate not finishing a book so I will persevere, but the subject matter is dull, he is dull, and the writing style is terrible! Quotes and prose supposedly intertwined to relate the story but there is no flow to it and I find myself having to re-read sections to make sense of it. Very clunky and disjointed. Pretty desperate stuff, but I suppose I should have only expected that. Second star given in (over?) optimistic hope that things can only get better!

14th May - update. I have finished it, thank god. Still definitely no more than two stars and even that feels a bit generous.

Awful.

2.0 out of 5 stars BORING!!! 9 Jan 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
As a great Simon Cowell fan, I was very, very disappointed in this book! Kept going three quarters of the way through and then gave up! Any of the up-to-date news, had already been in the media to my reckoning. Nevertheless, would still probably buy books relating to Simon, case of better luck next time!

2.0 out of 5 stars Sweet Revenge
Had quite a reasonable opinion of Simon until I read this book and then he turned into a stupid, selfish, uninteresting, greedy person... I'm sure he isn't that bad!

An excellent book, for someone who strongly dislikes talent shows! But a good insight into a fascinating man. Many thanks.
