5.0 out of 5 stars A Note From The Author, 4 Jun 2000
By A Customer
When I discovered the chemical sweetener aspartame caused a false diagnosis of a near-fatal disease, I decided to investigate WHY the artificial chemical made me so ill. When I uncovered the hidden facts behind this chemical sweetener, I decided to write SWEET POISON to warn others of its dangers. People don't know the truth about aspartame because the facts have been suppressed world-wide. Now is the time to bring the truth forward. I wrote SWEET POISON as a personal story for readers to relate their aspartame experiences with mine. The dangerous effects of aspartame are real and can happen to anyone, anywhere, anytime. Simply knowing the truth can save your health and the health of others. Enjoy the read and I wish you the best of health.

5.0 out of 5 stars If you are ingesting this poison, you must read this book, 24 Jan 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Sweet Poison: How the World's Most Popular Artificial Sweetener is Killing Us-- My Story (Hardcover)
Even if you've never experienced one of the dozens of symptoms and diseases associated with aspartame ingestion, you must buy this book and read it. Unless you are very good at denial, it will convince you of all the well-documented reasons to:

a) never ingest this junk again

b) advise your friends and family of what you've learned--lord knows the government's not going to do it

c) write the FDA and your state and federal representatives about the travesty that is aspartame

Shocking Expose of the World's Most Controversial Sweetener by Janet Starrv Hull Defenitely Janet is a strong woman; for only someone this strong could survive this near death experience and fight with softdrinks giants like Pepsico and Coke. Sadly the health ministry of the Indian government has allowed the use of two artificial sweetners AcesulfameK and Aspertame by notificatio (GSR 396 (E) under section 23 (1) of the prevention of Food Adulteration Act, 1954. Pls help Indians to fight against these sweet poison Santosh PL
