Anita Bakers very best album sould have contained about 50 songs, so it was a difficult task for someone to narrow this down to just 18.
She has a voice that is uncomparable to any other. Some people think she has a Jazz voice, others see her as a blues singer and others as pop. Its just a unique voice that she can sing anything in many different styles.
But she sings about Love, and thats exactly what you will do with this album once you hear it, you will Love it.
My favourite tracks are the very ballady and sensual "I apologise", "Body and Soul" and "Rhythm of Love".
Many people will know Anita from her earlier hits, "Caught Up in the Rapture", "Fairytales" and "Sweet Love". But whether its the old classics or the newer favourites, Anita has sang beautiful love songs for over 20 years or more and she just gets better and better.
A must buy for late night music shared with the one you love.

The tracks on this compilation CD will leave Anita fans hungry for more!SweetLove- The very Best of Anita Baker is a perfect gift for jazz,easylistening, R&B and soul fans.From the first track Rapture to Giving you the best This lady's unique, deep, full-flavoured tones warms the deepest place in the soul on a cold winter's day or refreshes those in love and reminds them why they fell in love without being too corny. Good lyrics,good musical arrangement. A definite must buy! Having bought one on the high street for my house I discovered this bargain from amazon and will be purchasing one for my car.

Who is Antia Baker ?. Well I had not come across much of her work so as a gamble I brought this `Sweet Love - Very Best Of`CD, and I was amazed that I had forgotten these great tracks over the years.
This great compilation of Anita Baker songs from eighties to present date (2002), has been under played on Radio and clearly forgotten just how good the songs are. Anita is an all round singer singing R&B, Soul and jazz songs, all of which are on this excellant CD. This album is a classic of her work containing her five UK big hits, `Sweet Love`, Caught Up In The Rapture`, Giving You The Best That I Got`, Talk To Me` and Body and Soul`.
The 16 page booklet that accompanies this CD is a Biography with photographs of Antia`s journey into the music industry through her songs and music. So now I Know who Anita Baker is and I am so pleased that I have a copy in my CD collection.
Total playing time of this CD is 78 minutes and 13 seconds.
