Product Description

Manufacturer's Description

Ewan the dream sheep is a simple yet effective tool for settling restless babies and toddlers into a peaceful slumber. Cute, cuddly Ewan attaches securely to the cot bars or sit him next to your moses basket, and plays real heartbeat and womb sound combinations that mimic the noises babies hear inside the womb. These comforting sounds have been proven to be effective for settling and calming even the most restless newborns, as they make the difficult transition from womb to world.

Even better is that Ewan has a choice of 3 further pink noise sound combinations- similar to white noise but more effective--which are suitable for older babies and toddlers, so he can go on helping with your sleep routine well on into the pre-school years.

Ewan loves to travel, so if you're out and about he can be attached to the buggy or car seat so your little one can be comforted ‘on the go’ and there’s no chance of leaving him behind. With his useful tail you could even securely attach a dummy or teether. Ewan also doubles as a nightlight, thanks to his soft pink comforting glow, so no need to buy one of these as an extra and his calming soft light simply adds to his charm.

Bought this to replace Ramsey the Nightmare Goat. Works much better. Baby doesn't wake up screaming with terror anymore.

When you don't have children of your own its hard trying to buy a present that will be both appropriate and appreciated. My best friend's daughter gave birth in June this year and I bought them each a Ewan the Sheep for their baby girls. I can report that Ewan is a real hit with both babies and their parents.

My youngest daughter has been using Ewan the Dream Sheep for 2 years since we bought one in Kiddicare when I was still pregnant, and he is my "must-buy" item for new mums and dads. He truly is a miracle worker with Lydia, and he is now firmly her favourite "special" toy. She cuddles up to his super soft body whenever she is tired, upset, or hurt, and can't fall asleep without Ewan and his harp music. As soon as she was old enough to work the leg clickers herself, she would activate him when she stirred in the night, and fall back to asleep herself without anyone having to get up with her.

The battery life is respectable, if you buy decent batteries, and we learnt over a year ago to make sure we keep spare batteries in stock for those rare times when he does need a change of power source! The red glow is very soothing and the velcro tail is really handy for attaching to his cot. I've recommended Ewan to loads of people; my nephew has one and loves his, too.

Dreadful battery life...come on whoever designed the circuit, one red LED and a little sound can't possibly be this battery hungry....BUT THE BOTTOM LINE IS THAT EWAN RULES! He radiates womb-like sounds at a button-push and visibly calms the little fella when it's time for bed. Just great and cute too!

Ewan is warm and fluffy and so cute. The noises are great and the night light is perfect. We've stopped using it though as noise only lasts 20min at a time which wakes baby after it finishes. Batteries also only lasted 3 weeks which could become an expensive exercise to constantly refill! For £2.99 we now use white noise app on the iPad that can play continuously. Much cheaper option than £30 slightly feeling wasted on Ewan. Not going to lose hope though...as baby grows I can see Ewan could be a great bed time buddy.

We originally bought a Ewan as my little girl at 2 months wouldn't settle and a friend had recommended him. Since then we now have 3. One at Nursery, one for the cot and one to play with during the day...this one if filthy because we literally have to take him everywhere...he goes to the park, in the garden, in the high chair for breakfast dinner and tea even to feed the horse up the road because she loves him. I would recommend Ewan to anyone with a baby, he is safe and a real comfort. He has a velcro tail so you never loose him when your out. He has volume settings either loud or quite and his red glowing tummy can also be turned off if baby likes a very dark room. He can shusshhh, husshhh, sing and make womb noises, all which baby can find soothing. As soon as we got our first Ewan our little girl settled and if she wakes in the night we just turn him on and she goes back to sleep. I would buy shares in this company if i could...you can not put a price on a good nights sleep. 5 Stars!!!!
