Still in the same vein as the much loved How Life Is - if you were a fan of that then you should enjoy this. It has the same earthy Al Green groove with organs, backing harmonies etc. but sadly none of the mayhem of her live show. Apparently Macy didn't like the stodgy production on How Life Is, so it's a surprise she hasn't moved it on here, as the base and drums are a bit dull and lumpy and it all plods a bit. What we want is to hear that magic voice against some new beats and styles! More Black Eyed Peas collaborations! It's okay it's just not a move forward at all.

If this is an idea of the calibre of Macy Gray's new album, then it will be something special. Macy Gray's gravel-like voice is gentle and soulful, and this is complemented by Badu. Erikah Badu brings a softer edge to the single. The effect is a sultry song that will have your head swaying and soul purring.

A simple and soulful ballad, the 1st single from the new album. Features Erykah Badu on vocals and her voice sounds great with Macy's. Play this for your partner.
