Got this book at a independent bookseller in Savannah, GA a few weeks ago and just fell in love with the recipes, the chef, and the cuisine. Sweet potato cheesecake? You have got to try it - fantastic! The recipe shown on the cover with all the layers of strawberries and flat cakes is superb! We swung by Atlanta recently on a trip and went to the bakery to meet Chef Sonya and it was very much worth the trouble! She sat with us and talked about her recipes, her momma, and she was truly interested in our cooking. Highly recommend this book and if you have a chance to meet the author - do it! She is incredible!
