With its price being extremely competitive, I have to wonder how they manage to squeeze so much into such a small/cheap device.
I bought this as a present for one of my sons friends, as a present for her birthday. It is very easy to use, which is great for a 8 year old, and probably her parents :¬) Simply plug it into any USB port and drag/drop mp3's onto the drive. It charges while you do this, and you can leave it plugged in charging, while you listen to the music/radio, work on the files etc. The sound is quite reasonable, given the earphones.
As it is also possible to transfer files with its 4GB capacity and USB transport mechanism.
Having a radio as well, is a bonus. If this wasn't enough, it can also record your voice/sounds with its inbuilt microphone, great to leave yourself 'what I need at the shops/things I need to do today' lists.
Given its price, I am surprised it is not simply a 'gimmick' piece of plastic, designed for todays 'throw away society', which so far, it has not proved to be.
We have a MP3 player, plugged into the Car audio system, which means it is easier to change music styles whilst driving, without having to resort to Cassette changing/fumbling, or reloading the 4CD changer. 4GB of mp3s is a lot of music. I can also charge it in the car at the sametime, even my windup torch can charge this.
What else would you want for £12.90?
