I like this watch. It's plain and simple and does the job. I can't see the point in paying a lot of money just for a "name" (but my daughter has some difficulty understanding this approach). I've bought one for my son (aged 10) and now want to buy another for me.
The date and day function is good (it's a bit fiddly to switch at the end of the month - but easy once you know how - you have to pull the knob out half way and it then allows you to change the day or date - depending which way you turn it).

I've had this watch for over 4 years and only now need to change the battery for the first time. Otherwise it's kept excellent time, the strap is still perfect and has hardly scratched at all.

I have found this to be an excellant product especialy for an elderly person with failing eyesight. The magnification makes a big differance.
