This product has had a major benefit for me. I came off an SSRI due to side effects, and was fine at first but started to suffer from depression and anxiety after a few months. I read the Mood Cure by Julia Ross, and the results of the questionnaires suggested trying L-tyrosine and 5-htp. The Tyrosine has been amazing, helping with mood, concentration and energy during the day, and the 5-htp helps me to sleep. I still wake up very early with bad anxiety, but that disappears after a couple of hours. I take one capsule half an hour before breakfast, one mid morning, and one mid afternoon, and find that works for me. I take the 5-htp in the evening and fall asleep very quickly. I still need to find something to help with the early awakening and anxiety (any ideas gratefully received!), but I am amazed how much the tyrosine has helped me function during the day. I really hope it works for others too!
