I purchased this for my mum and dad as they find it hard to lift bigger kettles. Its is a very useful little kettle, just enough for them and very easy to lift and handle.I would certainly recommend this kettle for people who have trouble in lifing things. The company despatched this item very quickly, and I would certainly use them again. Excellent service

Takes a little while to boil but does the job. Add to that that its light and with todays baggage restrictions that's a plus. No need to go without your morning cuppa if this is tucked into your bag.

This replaced a smaller travel kettle that split and as this was bigger I worried a little about space, however it does a full two-cup boil, and unlike some other reviewers I quite like the 2 small half-mugs that fit inside, they were very useful for whisky drinking in Malaysia and Indonesia and were even good enough for a reasonable drink of coffee or tea.
A most important point to make is that many backpacker places have electricity supplies which will not support 3 or 4 kilowatt kettles without blowing all the fuses or even setting fire to the place if there are no fuses; this kettle has less wattage than that and still worked well in rattly little bamboo beach bungalows with weedy power supplies...OK so it takes up to 5 minutes to boil a full kettle in some places, but at least it does the job.
As long as you keep the lid on it switches off when it boils, the LED light is also useful. The instructions do say not to leave it unattended, but that's true of all electric kettles.
The plastic seems tough (it survived a lot of rucsac activity), and of the choices available was definitely the best thing available. If space is really tight you can always get a pair or two of socks inside it to save space for travel, but I'd draw the line at dirty underwear, even if the water does boil first!
I am extremely pleased with this kettle. Steve Riches, Northampton, UK.

Bought this little travel kettle and had assumed, going by previous reviews, that the cups were a waste of space. However, I filled one and emptied it into a conventional tea cup and they both hold exactly the same amount so the little cups which store inside the kettle will, in fact, be useful. All in all, very pleased with my purchase. Small, lightweight and functional.

This product is nice and light for travel and easy to pack. Holds enough water for 2 cups and quite quick to boil. Good value and would recommend it to family and friends.

Ordered this kettle a little unsure of what I would get, but it is perfect for holidays abroad where they seem to think that a kettle in a hotel room is something strange. At 500ml it is large enough for a reasonable hot drink for two and small enough to pack, as well as being lightweight. Takes about 5 mins to boil, but all things considered I am very pleased with the product. Price was also reasonable.

I wanted a small travel kettle and this Swan fits the bill. Little cups inside will be ideal for me, because I only like a SMALL cup of black coffee and it is light enough to fit in my hand luggage when I go on holiday. Have also realised that it is a god send for me to use at home as I have problems in my wrists and I can easily lift this Swan kettle.

This is a nice size for just 2 reasonable size cups but don't bother with the 2 "tooth glasses" provided. One gripe though is that it's rated for 115 volts so we took it to the US but the water took ages to get hot enough and never boiled.
