I was looking for a small but powerful iron suitable purely for craft purposes. I had my doubts over whether such an iron existed, and when I saw this iron I had my doubts whether it could really be as good as the reviews claimed it was. However, I'm very pleased with it and am pleased to add another glowing review to this item!

As I said, I wanted this iron for craft purposes. I make embroidered patches, and I needed this iron to be powerful enough to iron my thick backing fabric, and also hot enough to melt the iron on glue I use. It deals with these just fine, and in fact for the glue it works better than my full size expensive iron.

There are a few tiny niggles that I'll mention for the sake of being thorough - I wish there was an LED on it to show it's on so I don't forget to unplug when I'm done. (There is an LED to indicate when the iron is heating up, but I'd really like another that's permanently on). It does hold a tiny amount of water, but I do find this is enough to do a reasonable amount of ironing before needing a refill. Finally, if you use the steam button, it sometimes shoots out any gunk which might have made its way into the holes, but you can combat this by shooting steam into the air first to clear it before using it on your nice clean clothes.

Some other reviews mentioned it being strange holding the body of the iron and it not having a handle, but personally I haven't had any trouble with this at all as it fits into the hand really nicely.

I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good travel iron.

Very good and smooth iron, only problem I found was the 'steam' buttons not effective and difficult to use, weighs about half a kilo but does it's job.

This is a lovely travel iron I used for a holiday but also to iron my cross stitch projects instead of getting out the big iron I will say on the downsize that it hasn't really got a handle to speak of with my old one that stopped working was able to put my hand around the handle and underneath whereas this new one just has a slight indent where you just rest your fingers, well it took me a while to get used to it each time I use it.

Seems OK. A little chunky perhaps but quite heavy considering its a travel iron. Have to watch out when packing for holiday!!
