The Swan 8 litre catering urn performs well considering the price. The drip tray is slightly too small/short for an average mug; grounds for a potential health risk. The pictures and wordings on the packaging clearly state a product feature of a new stainless steel anti drip tap however; my model does not have the tap shown on the box, instead it has black plastic one that does drip a little.

If you are ordering from HSD Online, they will not send you the item pictured. You will receive this design with a new tap. The old tap had issues with limescale and leaked.
I am sure the new tap is great, however this tap is significantly larger than the old one and what they have not done is change the size of the drip tray. If you look at the old design, the drip tray is smaller. This means the cup will be placed on the edge of the drip tray, half on half off. This will pose a significant safety risk and the cup could accidentally tip spilling its boiling water over you. Avoid unless you can get a guaranteed assurance that the item you receive will be the new design with the new tap.

arrived next day,well packed. fab for barbies or lots of tea drinkers!!because of the standby,no more waiting for kettles to boil easy and quick to use,i'd reccommend this urn to eveyone.*****
