The only positive thing I can say about this appliance is that it looks good.
Apart from that:
In its specification and on its box it says that all parts are removable and dishwasher safe. However, the instructions recommend not putting the trays in the dishwasher.
The trays and associated spacer rings are constructed from thin, flimsy plastic and do not fit together particularly well. I expect it to be only a short time before something breaks.
The operation guidelines are probably the least informative of any appliance I've ever bought. There are 7 pre-programmable times for rice, chicken, fish etc. I assume these refer to food placed in the lower tray but there is no indication of the increase in time required for food in the 2 upper trays or, indeed, any indication as to how to cook a complete meal with, say, meat or fish in the lowest tray and vegetables in the others.
The most irritating aspect is that there is a `Timer' function which should allow a delay in the start of a cooking programme. There is no way that this can be used by following to the letter the instructions given.
I attempted on 3 occasions to phone Swan's Helpline to get assistance with this problem. On each occasion I got the usual recorded message saying `due to a high volume of calls all our operators are busy etc.' and then spent a minute listening to a dialling tone before being cut off. This `service' seems to be no better than the standard of Swan's instruction book.
I then e-mailed the company but didn't even receive the courtesy of a reply.
I would summarise by saying that this is overpriced, badly made rubbish from a company whose after-sales service appears to be non-existent.
