Drawing upon his vast knowledge of the beautiful game, Sven features detailed player models, intuitive ball control and the chance to bring the cup back to home soil. Select your team from 204 national teams (each made up of a squad of fantastic fantasy players) and steer them through a choice of four footie competitions - World Cup Qualifiers, World Cup, League or Cup.
The action on the pitch never lets up with smooth motion capture of the essential ball skills and an instinctive control method that allows for some blistering goals. Play head-to-head against the computer or if you think you'rr up to it, challenge a friend to up to 30 minutes of frenzied football. The last words go to the man himself, "Getting to the World Cup with England has been the challenge of my career. Now play YOUR way to the final!"

The challenge in this game is to try and play it for longer than 10mins.Its hard to get started and the game play is not very good also the screen and players are tiny.The players all have made up names so don't expect to be controlling beckham & owen etc.There is also no commentary which does seem to make the game dull.You have pop up captions telling you it's a goal kick etc and in my opinon you would be better off buying something else like Fifa.

If you are expecting a football game like fifa 2002 you will be disapointed.When you work out how to get the game started you will see the players all have made up names.Also they are very small and do not respond very well.There is also no comentary so its a very quite game you get subtitles pop up telling you that it's a throw in or goal kick etc.Once you get used to it it's not that bad but it's also not that great you would be better off to spend a little bit more and get a better game.

When i first bought this game i was a bit apprehensive that it wasnt going to be as good as i first thought it would be, however i have been proved wrong on every different aspect of the game. It is genuinely an extremely realistic and enjoyable game! The featuers in the game are better than any other football game i have played and the best feature is the way in which the commentators always have something different to say! Not once i have heard John Motson repeat a phrase and that is no joke! I highly recommend that you buy this game although be warned, you may have a few late nights!
