Suzan lives in the Midwest with her verra handsome carpenter husband, the last of their four children. Their youngest, a 6'1", 14-year-old boy is eating them out of house and home. Monetary donations are currently being accepted in order to feed their built-like-a-linebacker son and keep him in shoes.
Suzan has been writing since childhood but until recently, she had never shared anything she had written. Writing was the easy part. But the thought of sharing what she had written caused her lower intestines to seize, brought forth heart palpitations and cold sweats. But she woke up one morning and realized she was on the other side of forty and had her 'ah ha!" moment. She didn't want to wake up on the other side of 60 or 70 and wonder "what if?"
So she shared her most recent work with a very dear friend who she knew would be brutally honest with her. Her friend isn't an author or an editor. She is a reader. And we all know that if the reader isn't engaged, isn't interested then you are doomed. Suzan shared just the first few chapters and her entire world changed with one simple email. "Where is the rest of it? I want to read more! I want to know what happens next!"
Some people say she is obsessed with writing. Suzan prefers to think of it as a passion. While there is great joy in writing, the biggest joy comes in sharing what you've written with the world. So she writes passionately and shares her work joyfully with the intent of bringing smiles to her readers' faces.
