Suttons microgreen herbs seeds have vibrant colours and dynamic flavours. As easy to grow as cress on your windowsill. Unlike sprouting seeds, microgreens are left to grow until they develop the first two cotyledons (seedling leaves) and the first two young true leaves. Tastes like oriental salad leaves. These are a new generation of sprouted salad leaves that are a far cry from 1970s health food store fodder. Grown to a maximum size of 3 cm the small greens carry very strong flavours. Full growing instructions given on packet.
Sowing and Growing - Sprinkle your seeds over a seed tray of moist compost or across a double layer of damp kitchen roll laid on a plate, aiming for about the same coverage as sesame seeds on a burger bun. Place on a warm windowsill, a temperature of 18 to 22 degree C is ideal and keep moist using a misting spray once a day. Your microfield will be ready for grazing on with a couple of snips of the scissors in just 5-10 days.
Quality Control - This seed has been carefully tested to ensure high generation. Prior to use, store in a dry cool place. Sow and Harvest - All year round.
