The title has been abbreviated, but the subject has not.
We decided to shorten the title to "Sustainable Management of Dams and Waters" without modifying the book. The shorter title has more punch and may also be a bit more poetic. I would also like to mention that we made an enormous effort on graphics, and I think all river rats and dam lovers will find very useful charts and data for New England, especially for Boston Harbor and tributaries. We also propose a radical way of sustainably managing water pollution in Boston Harbor, with the goal of seeing the whales return to Massachusetts Bay.
