I loved this series when it was first shown on TV. It looks slightly dated now, but nevertheless I feel it shows just what can happen when mankind makes a 'mistake' releasing a deadly virus.
Mankind is not failproof and altho we are in the computer age, a computer is only as clever as the person programming it. We have already had several near misses, Sellafield, Chernobyl, Mad Cow Disease, Swine Flu. Interfering with nature is going to be mans greatest downfall.
