This is a great follow up to the TV series. It makes you feel the tension that built up on the island. Whilst there are a few behind the scene stories, the best thing to come out of the book is how aliances were built and used upon members who were least excpecting it. All in all a very good read

I was as addicted to the book as i was to the fabulous TV show it came from, i couldn't put it down at night and managed to read it in 3 days! I was a bit dissapointed too that it wasn't bigger than it actually was, the thickness of the book is a bit misleading as the font size is quite large inside unlike say the BB books by Jean Ritchie. However this is much better than them, it's quality not quantity in my opinion. And there was plenty of new info in it to whet my appetite for now..

This is an easy read and good if you want to re-live the programme if you were hooked on it ! However, I was hoping there were some " behind the scenes gossip " but found very little. Perhaps it would have been interesting to delve into the contestants backgrounds more than the book did and maybe follow the fortunes of them afterwards.
