I brought this book after listening to some of Michael Callen's music with the flirtations. It is a frank and honest account about Michaels life with AIDS from 1982 onwards. It is a very interesting read amd I felt was very brave in the way it questioned the medical establishment of the time it was published by trying to disprove the statement that AIDS is invariably fatal. It is a great read by a very brave man and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in the area.

Michael Callen was my friend and editor at Newsline. I remember when he wrote this novel for Harper Collins - New York. A champion of the disenfranchised, Mike brought this work to the masses during the biggest crisis in America's health history. Although now out of print, I highly recommend you find a used copy and read the true account.
